Personal training
in Markham
Your first session is a real workout, not a sales meeting. You train, we start building your plan, you walk out knowing exactly what you'd be paying for. Free. No pressure to commit on the spot.
Evenings and weekends available. Usually booked within 48 hours.
What you get out of my free session
-
I will assess your current physical ability & mobility
Up to 60 minutes on the floor. Real working sets, coached the way a paying session runs.
-
I watch how you actually move
This is the part a phone call can't do. I will coach and observe you during our training session, figure out what movement patterns will benefit you the most.
-
We map the next twelve weeks
Your goal, your schedule, & the most efficient training split that fits both.
-
You decide later, not in the gym
A personal trainer is a big expense, and it's not easy to make a judgement call on the spot, and I do not intend to pressure you into that. It's more important to me that you find a trainer that suits YOU, so take your time. (but if I'm running a promo don't take too long!)
Training rates
My best rate, and the one I want you on. Three days a week is where people actually make the most change — enough volume to grow, enough contact to keep your technique honest. The accountability this frequency provides is the sweet spot.
- $90 per session — 2x a week
- $105 per session — 1x a week
- Drop in — $110

Who you'd be training with
Wayne K
Muscle Building Expert · Fitness Element
Experience
Seven years coaching, four of them running NTS full time. This is my career, not a side job between shifts. ISSA, NASM and CanFitPro certified.
Competing
I compete at a national level as a bodybuilder, I used to compete as a competitive powerlifter. I coach muscle building because it's what I do to myself, in season and out. It is truly so important to be jacked and strong.
Training philosophy
Training shouldn't be something you do just to reach a weight goal. My purpose is to get you feeling confident in your health, strength and looks. Lifting heavy is extremely important as you age, and the sooner you start the better. If you're over the age of 25 and you aren't going to the gym consistently, you are setting yourself up for a much harder physical future.
Destyn
Came back to me after training with me in university to compete in his first bodybuilding show. In 36 weeks he gained 3lbs of muscle while losing over 30lbs of fat, and got in the best shape of his entire life.
“I was in a very hard time in my life when Wayne recommended I compete in a bodybuilding show to give me something to work towards. It was very difficult, but the process taught me that my mind and body were capable of much more than I was giving myself credit for. Wayne is a great person to have in your corner. He puts so much into helping people, and is very passionate and skilled in transforming the human body.”

Who I work with
You're in your twenties or early thirties, you want to be visibly bigger and stronger in a year, and you're done guessing. Maybe you've trained on your own for a while and stalled out. Maybe you're starting from nothing and don't want to waste two years learning the hard way.
I am very good at skimming out the bullshit, and with all of these "coaches" on social media with conflicting opinions it's hard to know who and what to trust. I bet that after meeting me you will be happy to use me as your trusted source for fitness information.
What it takes is showing up three times a week and doing the work. If that's the commitment you're ready to make, I'd love to see what you've got!
Questions people ask
-
Is that your best price?
$75 is my best rate. It's tied to training three times a week because that's the frequency that gets results — I'd rather give you the lower number and the better outcome than meet in the middle on both.
-
I'm out of shape, is the free session going to wreck me?
I specialize in crafting my clients workouts based off of their experience levels, previous injuries, weight, joint mobility, and muscular output. You WILL be sore, but nothing that will leave you bed ridden I promise.
-
What if I can't do three days a week?
Then we train twice, or once. It still works, it's just slower — fewer contacts means less coaching and less accountability, so expect the timeline to stretch. $90 twice a week, $105 once a week, $110 drop-in. Tell me your schedule and I'll tell you honestly what to expect from it.
-
How long before I see something?
This changes for everyone, I work mostly with body recomposition as my main method of transforming people, this means balancing a diet, training and cardio to get the results you are looking for as fast as we can. Really depends on your starting point. I have never seen anyone make zero progress in a month's time.
